3. What if this tool is used?
1) Position the crankshaft
Remove the oil pan and insert the crankshaft locating pin (E5-8) into the slot of the engine block to lock the crankshaft to the 0 ° position.
2) Fixed camshaft
Insert the locking plate (A1-4) into the camshaft groove, ensuring complete fit with the cylinder head (gap ≤ 0.05mm).
3) Dismantling/installing the chain
At this point, the camshaft and crankshaft positions are absolutely fixed! Safely detachable chain and tensioner, perfectly replicating the original factory timing!
Key reminder: After installing the tool, it is necessary to completely press the cylinder head flat, otherwise it needs to be readjusted!
